UNLIMITED NEW PATIENTS
In the book The Bigness of the Fellow Within B.J. wrote
the following in The Uninhibited Make History. "The superior
mind is always willing to give. The lesser mind is seldom
wiling to receive. It rejects most of the time. Now and
then one person who seeks to receive does receive and
makes history in his chosen line of activity. This is
the man who has learned how to release his inhibitions."
I know you want to help others, but are you willing to
receive? If you want to make history you want to have
unlimited new patients. Chiropractic is part of rebuilding
the thoughts and actions of the world. It is absolute
truth that everyone is better without a Subluxation than
with one. The uninhibited make history you must learn
how to release your inhibitions. Are you ready?
EVALUATE YOUR MARKETING PLAN
Most Sundays I receive some sort of drug inserted into
my newspaper. TV, radio and the print media are inundated
with drug and medical advertising. How uninhibited is
your marketing? Are you overcoming the drug oriented,
sick care programming your community is bombarded with?
Or are you hiding out and being inhibited? Are you thinking
about yourself or others? Do you do screenings and talks,
are you distributing educational literature, are you a
resource, are you a networking genius?
If you do not have a plan please start today. Your patients
and your community need you. Plan something daily, weekly,
monthly and quarterly to reach out to your current patients
and your community. A marketing plan must be consistent
and balanced with internal and external activities.
YOUR RETENTION
Your retention stat is one way of evaluating your philosophy
and will tell how uninhibited your marketing and educational
programs are.
0-20 is a practice focusing on pain.
0-40 is a practice focused on function.
40-80 is a practice focused on spinal change.
80-100 is a practice focused on Subluxation.
100 plus is a practice focused on the Principle and rebuilding
the thoughts and actions of the world.
EVALUATE YOUR NEW PATIENT NUMBERS
Do you consistently see new patients; do you expect them,
love them and want them?
What is your percentage of referrals?
Decide on a marketing budget. A budget can be set to spend
between 3%-10% of your gross. Three percent sustains the
current level, 10% is considered aggressive. I have seen
huge practice built without spending much money at all.
Door to door, screenings and talks, networking and community
involvement can cost little or next to nothing.
Today is the day to take action, the uninhibited make
history. Will you?
